Classes at Buona Terra

Now offering Classes at Buona Terra! Join us for one of the upcoming classes.

 

Crepe class - Tuesday evening December 13th from 6pm to 8pm 

Join us for a night of fun and learn about the art of crepes. We will show you how to make both sweet and savory crepes. We will make some classics like an omelette crepe and crepes suzette. And our pastry chef will teach you how to make a pastry cream to use as a filling for a sweet crepe.

Everyone will be able to spin their own crepe, fun guaranteed.

Classes are $35/pp and seats are limited to 8 persons per class. Classes can be booked on our website or through the event page on facebook.

When booking online please mention the date of the class you are booking in the comment box.
All class reservations must be prepaid and are non refundable.

This class is byob for those whom would love to enjoy their crepe with a glass of wine or beer.
 

 

 Buche de Noel cake class - Friday December 23rd 1-3pm

Join our pastry chef Danielle to learn and make your own Buche de Noel. This cake is a traditional French Christmas dessert. Danielle will teach you step by step to make this delicious treat. Each participant will take their own cake home at the end of the class.

Classes are $50/pp and seats are limited to 8 persons per class. Classes can be booked on our website or through the event page on facebook.

Afternoon Tea @ Buona Terra Sunday November 27th 2-4pm

Join us at Buona Terra for our first Afternoon tea session on Sunday November 27th between 2 and 4pm

Reserve your spot for our tea time and enjoy some savory and sweet pastries and a pot of hot tea or coffee.

Pastries will include scones, mini quiche, sweet seasonal mini tart, sweet and savory éclair, macarons and a sampler of our gelato. You won't leave hungry!

Tea time will be $30/pp and reservations can be made by either calling the shop or stopping by in person. We make everything fresh so we ask to book 48h in advance.

Macaron Day Cincinnati 2016: Buona Terra


Participating Bakeries: Bonbonerie, Frienda's Desserts, Macaron Bar, Taste of Belgium, Sweet Petit Desserts.

Macaron Day Cincinnati is a chance for macaron lovers to taste delectable French macarons from around the city. While supplies last, patrons may enjoy a complimentary macaron at participating locations. Just mention Macaron Day Cincinnati and see how many macaron bakeries you can visit in a single day!

The Macaron Day tradition was established in 2005 in Paris, and in NYC in 2010 as a partnership among local macaron patisseries to celebrate the French macaron and give back to local charities. Cincinnati is proud to join the ranks of Paris and NYC in establishing an annual event to appreciate this French delicacy while also supporting local charities. 

As part of this celebration of decadence, each participating location will be donating a portion of their sales from the day to Over-the-Rhine Community Housing. Buona Terra, in support of the Hyde Park Community will be donating a poriton of sales to Kilgour Schools.
